Campbell and Arnott Architects are an Architectural practice based in Edinburgh, Scotland
Campbell and
Arnott was founded in 1962 in Haddington, East Lothian, the practice then
moved to Edinburgh and it is now located in the heart of Leith. The practice
has successfully established itself as one of Scotland's leading firms of
Architects with a considerable depth of professional experience gained from
a wide range of projects and a variety of clients, in both the private and
public sectors.
Quality of design
has always been a high priority of the practice illustrated by a high rate
of success in architectural competitions and by the number of awards received.
Equally of importance to
the practice has been quality of service and in this regard a quality system
complying with the requirements of British Standard BS EN ISO 9001:1994
was introduced in the mid 1990s to ensure all management procedures are
to the highest standard.
Campbell and Arnott applies an appropriate level of level of sustainability measures to all projects, balancing capital cost with long term cost savings. The practice has implemented an ongoing research programme into best practice in energy efficient design and cost effective building techniques establishing principles which are applied to the design of all its buildings.
